Based on DLP technology, the Mitsubishi XD470U device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. According to Mitsubishi, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
