The XD480U is a DLP projector by Mitsubishi, whose specifications list 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2200:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Mitsubishi's current product range.
