Behind the name XL6600U is a LCD projector by Mitsubishi, whose main features include 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Mitsubishi, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 450 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
