A projector from Mitsubishi is the WL7050U, whose LCD model delivers 4700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 697 cm can be illuminated with 4700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 465 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi.
