Based on LCD technology, the Panasonic PT AT6000E projects images in a High-End Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 2400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 498 cm can be illuminated with 2400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 332 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

The projector has been in use since January 2013 and it does what it should. Razor-sharp images in 2D and 3D and crisp colors after calibration by Panansonic. I had sent it for a cure because more and more ghosting artifacts had formed in the 3D area. Just let it warm up a bit and everything is fine. I can only say that it is simply an ingenious projector that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of settings. It‘s always an experience to watch movies on it - Valerian in 2D and 3D as a current comparison or Avatar, of course. I have now ordered a replacement lamp before there are none left, but fortunately Panasonic is sticking to 3D technology so far and combining 4K with it, let‘s see what develops in the future.

One thing in advance. The beamer is super in terms of picture (as long as it works).
The beamer was less than two years old and about 1000 hours lamp operation time in ECO mode then came the error lamp error fortunately still under warranty.
After examination by Panasonic, the lamp is allegedly defective because the device was operated with a wrong lamp. (Strange that I bought the appliance from a specialist dealer) After a long back and forth, the lamp was supposedly changed with an additional charge for me (during the warranty period). What was strange was that the dealer received a notification that a control unit had been replaced and I received an invoice for the replaced lamp. (Of course, I was not given the other certificate). 15 months later and approx. 800 hours ECO, the projector has a lamp fault again. Let‘s see what the reasoning is now.
If this continues, you can‘t foresee the follow-up costs.

Since the price of the device has dropped by a good 50%, it is probably absolutely unbeatable in terms of price/performance. The picture is really good, the green cast in the brightest mode is nowhere near as pronounced as on more expensive devices costing a good €1000, and the moving picture optimization is excellent. As with many other devices (e.g. TW9200), a slight ghosting can be seen in 3D mode. I used the projector in combination with a couch screen as a TV replacement. Both during the day and in the evening, with or without room lighting, we and all previous visitors are totally impressed by the brilliant picture quality and the very vivid display.

The AT6000 from Panasonic is my 8th projector in total.
Never had a better one! The picture and dynamics are breathtaking. I would buy it again!
