The basic data of the Acer X1130P includes 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 as well as a contrast of 3000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.

Perfect price/performance ratio
I bought the projector. I use it exclusively for recording and watching movies via MythTV. Accordingly, I naturally also use it with 800x600@75hz.
Super:
- great light intensity, bright daylight of course not optimal. It‘s also dark in the movie theater
- Resolution for my requirements (PAL->720x576) completely sufficient. Picture can‘t get any better with higher resolution
- Noise development OK. After approx. 2min it whistles for approx. 1min. Then it has warmed up and purrs away. Not disturbing unless you‘re watching a "dolby silent" movie
- the black level doesn‘t disturb the letterbox bars even in complete darkness
- colors are really good. No trace of dull green reproduction
- Menu simple and sufficient
- Offset allows high overhead mounting
Pity:
- 800x600px with the aspect ratio 16:9, a compression over the projector unfortunately does not allow the 16:9 image to be pushed to the lower end. Wouldn‘t be bad for my overhead projection. But I can do that with 4:3 in my front end as well
- I am one of those who see the rainbow effect due to the color wheel technology. But it‘s acceptable, you just can‘t look back and forth like a wild man
Everyone said "Wow", and quite honestly, for the money there‘s nothing to complain about at all!!!
ps. ECO is more than enough for movie nights. When the sun is shining, you probably won‘t be able to avoid dimming it. 4000h lamp life with ECO is not a criterion for me, why? I use the device for a maximum of 2 hours a day/evening. In ECO that would be 2000 days. That‘s 5.5 years. If I buy a projector with these technical data and the price, I don‘t think about whether in 5.5 years a lamp for 115€ will be right for me, or whether I buy a super/over/above LED projector with 100,000 Ansi lumens for probably 200€.

I bought the projector new for 320 euros and am over the moon with it!
+ I‘ve already used it for watching DVDs and playing PC games (with 1280x1024 in compressed resolution) without any problems.
+ Super great price!
+ Many setting options, easy to use
+ Good brightness, good contrast in slightly darkened rooms even in daylight
+ The two fans are very quiet and barely audible
+ Stylish design
+ Low weight
+ Remote control
+ Up to 4000 hours of operation with one lamp
+ Cheap replacement lamps
- Only 800x600 dpi resolution
- No carrying case included
- Fiddly cap for the lens
Conclusion:
For 320 euros you can really be more than satisfied with it. It is in no way inferior to beamers with the same resolution, some of which are twice as expensive.
