With the PH530, manufacturer Acer offers a DLP projector with HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution and a contrast of 2500:1. The projector can illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm thanks to its 1000 Ansi lumens. In room light, however, the picture width should ideally be less than 214 cm. On the market since 2006, the model is no longer offered by the manufacturer Acer.

Can anyone tell me where it is best to buy one?
I would prefer a retailer that can be found in many areas.
The price should be around €600 - €680.

Simply great ! |

Since I have to deal with a lot of projectors professionally, my requirements were already quite high. However, when I connected the PH 530 to the mains, I was simply thrilled. In combination with a PS3 (Blue Ray) it was a real treat. Even a normal DVD goes through smoothly.
A super device (although the room should be darkened a little).

Hello first of all I spent 2 days looking at projectors with HD output and I have to say I actually wanted the Mitsubishi HD 1000 but it wasn‘t available yet and was actually too expensive for €1200. except for more brightness the technical data were not better so now the old NEC with 800-600 resolution has been retired and with HDMI connection to the PC the PH 530 just looks good I got a 16-9 screen 240 m and mainly play with 1280-720 which the Peamer can do really well but Full HD is also possible I don‘t see any difference anymore but I‘m really satisfied with the device with the price of 6XX €. greetings and your site is super informative

Im totally thrilled with the quality!!! And at that price.. Currently unbeatable in my opinion! PC signal is processed perfectly, DVDs via the composite input are really fun! And once you get to enjoy connecting the Xbox 360 via YUV and processing HD signals, youll be amazed!

I got mine too. I have to say that you can get a super HD projector for XXX€ as of 18.06.2007. Watching movies in HD resolution is a must. Unfortunately, the players and movies are still quite expensive and you don‘t get the taste of HD movies. I watched HD trailers on my PC. You can‘t see a pixel from a distance of 1.20m on a 2.30m wide screen. Unfortunately, the resolution of DVDs is too low and I‘m already looking forward to my first HD DVD player (which will probably take a while yet). HD is a dream, but DVDs are fun too. No PIXEL, no fly screen, and almost no rainbow effect. Except for B/W movies. Get it while it‘s still so cheap.
