The PD123 model from Acer combines DLP technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 1700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Acer, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 359 cm can be illuminated with 1700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 239 cm. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
