As a projector, the Acer UL5210 combines DLP technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 3500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 13000:1. According to Acer, the included lamp lasts up to 20000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 27.4 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 60 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 515 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
