The projector C202i by Acer operates as a DLP device with 250 ANSI lumens, a WVGA 854 x 480 resolution and a contrast of 5000:1. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding the power supply, the projector features an internal battery that enables a mobile runtime of up to 5 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 161 cm can be illuminated with 250 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 107 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to support for optional Ezcast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
