The Acer PD723 is a LED-DLP projector offering 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Looking at practical performance, up to 461 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 307 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range.

A wonderful projector. I use it for home theater. The only thing that bothers me is the 4:3 aspect ratio. Otherwise everything is really cool!

Error: During color adjustment, the picture got a blue to pink tint. - From this moment on, the device could only be switched off and on - no other information was accepted - even after a very long break and after the device was completely disconnected from the mains. (I asked a technician here whether the discoloration might indicate that the lamp needs to be replaced. He denied this, i.e. rather ruled it out.
Unfortunately, he also did not know where to send the device for a repair and prior cost estimate
