The basic data of the Panasonic PT-RZ31K includes 31000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 as well as a contrast of 20000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 31000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1789 cm in darkened rooms.
