Behind the name K138ST is a 3D-DLP projector by Acer, whose main features include 800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution. An LED lifespan of 20000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. A look at the light output reveals: The 800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 287 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 191 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
