The equipment of the Panasonic PT DZ21K2 / Evo projector includes 20000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. According to Panasonic, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 20000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1437 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 958 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
