The EMP 400W is a LCD projector by Epson, whose specifications list 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to Epson, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 108 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 287 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.

It says it everywhere, you just have to read it. Short throw! You can‘t use an old slide screen. I think the device is better than a normal projector. TOP

Top EMP 400
Still recordable noise, good picture, great features and great possibilities. Superb workmanship and low cost. That‘s good for almost 5 stars.

Top EMP 400
Top device with great possibilities. The projector is designed for close-up use and is great for games consoles and TV/video events at home. Because it is only 1 meter (at approx. 2.20 x 1.30 picture) away from the screen, there are no shadows, no people in the picture and no disturbing light. The volume is acceptable, the picture is good, the costs are low and the quality is top. What more could you want?
