The Epson EB-696UT is a LCD projector that brings 3800 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution alongside a contrast of 16000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 56 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 626 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 417 cm. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
