The projector EF-22N by Epson utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 25000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 17.1 years. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Since the projector supports Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 22 decibels.
