A projector from Epson is the EH TW5650, whose 3D-Laser-LCD model delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 60000:1. According to Epson, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Since the projector supports Miracast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.

Bought Jan 2020, since then the mainboard was defective three! times and was changed. Now the mainboard is probably defective again. Now it‘s over after I had to invest almost the purchase price in repairs

Broke quickly and poor service
As has been said so often here, a good projector. Lots of functions, great picture, a bit too loud, so ECO mode is better.
Beamer but broke not long after warranty expired. Loud fan, flashing lights, nothing works anymore. Almost 500€ painful repair of the mainboard via Epson Service. SENSATIONAL 6-month warranty on the new parts. In fact, 7 months later, total loss again. Repair should cost almost 400€. No response to request from Epson. Communication with Epson could have been better.
Yes, projectors need to be looked after. Mine never fell down, the air filter was not too full, the projector could always cool down after switching off. Living room with even temperature and humidity. 650 lamp hours, so no intensive use. Please explain the fault to me. Just 7 months after major repair.
Super expensive, super annoying!
