As a projector for the Stationary sector, the Epson EB Z9900W is equipped with 9200 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 15000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2400 hours for this projector's lamp. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 9200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 975 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 650 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
