The EB Z9800W model from Epson combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 8300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2900 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 8300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 926 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 617 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
