The EMP TS10 model from Epson combines LCD technology in the Homecinema sector with 700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a native SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. According to Epson, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 230 cm can be illuminated with 700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 153 cm. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
