Behind the name EB-XQ2030B is a Laser-LCD projector by Epson, whose main features include 30000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 30000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 1005 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
