Based on LCD technology, the Epson EMP TW200 projects images in a Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 1300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 366 cm can be illuminated with 1300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 244 cm. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

I bought this projector about 2 1/2 years ago. Even with the prospect of HDTV, the resolution was important to me. Unfortunately, the HDMI input is missing. Too bad, because otherwise I would have been very satisfied. The picture makes a very natural impression, is sharp and has good natural colors. If you can do without HDTV, it‘s certainly still a good choice
