Based on LCD technology, the Epson EMP 8350 projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 5200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding projection size, the value of 5200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 628 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 419 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range.
