With the EH TW490, Epson offers a Laser-LCD projector that features 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 12000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Epson, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson.
