Categorized in the Homecinema segment, the EH TW4500 projector from Epson projects with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution, alongside 1600 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 200000:1. According to Epson, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 406 cm can be illuminated with 1600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 271 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson.
