The hardware properties of the EB 96W manufactured by Epson include 2700 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast value of 2000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Regarding projection size, the value of 2700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 528 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 352 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range.
