This projector is named X1110, originates from Acer, and its data sheet shows 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4500:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4500 hours before a replacement is necessary. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.2 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.

I also bought the device as a bedroom projector! What can I say, I didn‘t expect so much. The price-performance ratio is top. As the previous speaker has already said, the ACER X1110 does not have to hide! Scales 720p without any problems and really clean! I also have a CRT (Barco Graphic‘s 801) which I naturally prefer for TV, but since the ACER arrived I‘ve been enjoying myself more in the bedroom :-) Black level is not bad at all, and that with 2000+ Ansi Lumen, really top! I don‘t have any long-term experience with the device yet, but if the burner gives up the ghost, I still have a few 200Watt UHPs lying around here. They don‘t cost the earth these days. The resolution may not sound that great, but the device has a really good scaler. With this in mind...

Fine single 3D projector
I recently bought the X1110 explicitly as a 3D output device in my home theater, as my CRT can technically handle 3D with ease (SONY VPH 1292) but the brightness in combination with the shutter technology of the glasses is below my pain threshold. For 2D the CRT is still unbeatable, but for 3D the X1110 wins the race. It was set up in an hour and immediately produced an incredible 3D picture, bright without any ghosting.
Contrary to the technical specifications, the X1110 can scan up to 120Hz in 3D mode. It is also widely believed that 3D playback can only work in the native resolution of the projector, which in the case of the X1110 would be SVGA (800x600). However, this is not true, at least for the X1110! I created a 720p@120Hz (3D) and lo and behold the projector synchronized to 1158x720@120Hz
I can warmly recommend the projector, the price/performance ratio is very good and the picture really has nothing to hide in the video sector. The 3D result is even better than 2D. However, the projector is less useful as a computer monitor, as the native resolution is not high enough, video is its clear strength.
