Based on LCD technology, the Epson EMP 505 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 1100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. A look at the light output reveals: The 1100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 289 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 193 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2001, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
