A projector from Epson is the EMP 760, whose LCD model delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 400:1. According to Epson, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson.
