The EB Z9875U is a LCD projector by Epson, whose specifications list 8700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 8700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 948 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 632 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
