The projector EB-X24 by Epson operates as a Laser-LCD device with 3500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. According to Epson, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 515 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 343 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
