The Epson EB-W70 is a Laser-LCD projector that brings 2000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution alongside a contrast of 2500000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 12000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 8.2 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
