The technical data of the Epson EB W17 includes 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 as well as a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 538 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 359 cm. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
