Based on LCD technology, the Epson EB-1440UT device delivers 3800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 16000:1 as a projector. According to Epson, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 626 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 417 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
