The equipment of the Sony VPL SW631C projector includes 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 with a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
