The high-end home cinema Sony VPL VW500ES 3D SXRD projector has 1700 Ansi lumens, a contrast of 200000:1 and a UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 resolution. Including a lens shift function, which provides freedom during installation. A picture width of up to 305 cm is possible. However, the image should be smaller in room light. We recommend a maximum of 203 cm. Playing 1080P and 4K as well as 3D is also no problem for the projector, which means that all Blu-ray formats currently available can be recognized by the projector. At just 26 decibels, the device is one of the quieter projectors. It was launched in 2013 and is no longer offered by the manufacturer Sony, but is still very popular in our projector database.

The 500 conjures up a breathtaking picture on the screen in native 4k mode, you literally believe you are looking into a window to reality.
HD sources are once again greatly enhanced with Reality Creation, the difference to 4k is smaller than you might think. The menu and operating instructions are also easy to understand and it‘s easy to find your way around. There is nothing to complain about. The 3D has also been revised again with software version 1.006 and is also second to none, with zero ghosting. For me as a filmmaker and cineaste, the projector is worth every penny, and there are quite a few of them
Clear reference image compared to HD projectors.
