According to Sony, the included lamp lasts up to 6000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 287 cm can be illuminated with 1500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 191 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 24 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
