The Sony VPL-FHZ90L / is a Laser-LCD projector offering 9000 ANSI lumens and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. You can choose between black and white for the housing color. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 9000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 964 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 643 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
