The Sony VPL FHZ75 /L/ is a Laser-LCD projector that brings 6500 ANSI lumens and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. The device is available in black and white color options. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 819 cm can be illuminated with 6500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 546 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
Stationary | Permanent installation in the training room and meeting room as well as the conference room. Very large screen width and rooms with plenty of light and shaded daylight.
