On my projector, the cable of the upper temperature sensor was damaged. Since then it has been running perfectly.

vSync Problem
Hello everyone,
I‘m afraid I have a problem with the vertical refresh rate.
With a small DVBT receiver (composite) everything is fine, but I don‘t know which vSync it has.
On the PC (RGBHV) I have 63.94 kHz according to NVIDIA, which should actually be in the green range, about 8 times the same picture, flickering. You can‘t recognize anything because the individual images overlap each other.
Horizontally everything is ok.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Error-code-table..
greetings..have a look in my table..02 means (H stop) 100 V shutdown....20 means power off immediately...Note : If the error code lights up, all previous setting data will be deleted....
..The error code disappears when the main power switch is turned off and the power cord is disconnected!!!!
Unless the malfunction is corrected, the error code lights up every time the power is turned on...Hope to have helped you...otherwise

Error code list for a Sony VPH1270.
Hello,
Who has an error code list for a Sony VPH1270.
It starts briefly and then goes off again immediately.
The fans are all running, that couldn‘t be the problem.
It displays error 20 and then 02.
Who has any idea.

Hi,
my Sony VPH 1270 projects a yellow square after a move. Image size 3 x 2 m Square size approx. 1.8 x 1.8 m. No matter what I use as input source, no matter how I adjust the projector, it remains a bright yellow square. I am grateful for any tips

on my sony 1042qm you can adjust the sharpness at the back where the g2 adjustment is ..... is the component where the high voltage cables come out ... you have to have a look, it‘s a module with 6 wheels on it, 3 for basic brightness and 3 for sharpness mfg martin

If the projector goes out without pressing the power button, it is often because the picture is set too bright. Turn down the brightness (Picture), then the protection circuit won‘t kick in either

Hello
I have a Sony VPH 1270 QM, I was able to adjust pretty much everything except the picture sharpness. The picture always looks slightly blurred. Maybe someone knows how to improve this. Otherwise a top home cinema projector, I can only recommend it.

Problem
My Sony VPH 1270 goes off again after about 1-2 seconds when I switch it on and can then only be switched on again for 1-2 seconds if I press Off and then press On again. The projector suddenly went out when I was using it. Without me having done anything. I replaced the fans with Revoltec fans and bridged the tacho (yellow) with minus (black) as described on the internet and this worked perfectly
Can you do anything else????

the thing may be great and all, but I think it‘s pretty outdated, if it still had an hdmi interface it wouldn‘t be bad. and the resolution should also be around 1080 x 1900 then it would be full hd^^

Problem with Sony VPH 1270
Hello specialists,
I have the following problem:
My Sony VPH 1270 now only delivers horizontal stripes in red or green.
It all started relatively harmlessly! About 3 months ago, after the one-minute white screen display, my favorite started to display a black screen under the screen output no input.
After about three minutes, the projector switched to the TV picture.
About a week ago, after a projector runtime of about 15 minutes, the picture changed to a red or green tone. I was able to rectify this error by switching it off and on again (pause approx. 3-5 minutes)
For a day now it has been producing the horizontal stripes mentioned above!!!
According to the motto "A good workshop should have a hammer", I gave my projector a flip on the rear part. Lo and behold, it threw a perfect picture on the wall. After about 10 minutes the streaking started again !
Today the bag, alternately, only produces streaks in red or green.
Who can help me?
I am grateful for any answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

answer to hdtv
all projectors that have rgbhv as input are usually hdtv capable.actually hdtv is nothing more than a better resolution of the images tv=600 x 480 lines normal picture
hdtv= 1024 x 748 so what you have on the computer.
you bring it but with svhs cable also almost corresponds to approx.600 x 800 greetings superhase
also I also have 2 of the projectors vph 1271 and 1270

I am very satisfied with the projector, as it is cheaper on the second-hand market than an entry-level LCd.Correctly adjusted, it offers a lot of film for little money.Unfortunately, it is very loud, but this is hardly noticeable when listening to films normally.

In any case, a tube projector is the first choice for real home theater fans.
LCD and DLP projectors can‘t really keep up with tube technology in terms of picture quality (because a tube projector works without pixels)
- Sony VPH 1270 QM -
Perfect picture sharpness, very good black levels and long lamp life
- - - But this projector is very large, heavy and, apart from the original fans, also very loud. Adjusting the picture perfectly is even a bit complicated.
But apart from that I am really satisfied with the projector.
