A projector from Sony is the VPL CH375, whose LCD model delivers 5000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 2500:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2500 hours for this projector's lamp. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (12W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
