The projector VPL FHZ61 by Sony utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 5100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. The device is available in black and white color options. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 5100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 726 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 484 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.
Stationary | Permanent installation in the training room and meeting room as well as the conference room. Wide screen width or rooms with plenty of light (over 200 lumens).
