The Sony VPL HS1 is a Laser-LCD projector offering 700 ANSI lumens and a SVGA 800 x 600 Pixel resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 230 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 153 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
Hello, I want to connect the projector to an Xbox 360, preferably via VGA or composite, how do I do this? It only has a PJ Multi, where can I get an adapter for it?

Factory setting
I urgently need the data of the factory setting.
They are quite hidden.
You have to press on the remote control in running mode
(Enter-Enter-Arrow Left-Enter-Arrow up), then in the normal menu
the factory setting is visible.Of these, the following settings are required in the lowest menu item:
These are only visible if a picture signal is present:
RGB MTRX/D.COM : all 20
CHROMA : all 14
P.DRV : all 40
OTHER : all 26
GAMMA
I would be really grateful if someone could email me this könnte.

Over the years...
I‘ve had the Sony VPL HS1 since 2001, when it was one of the best devices both visually and technically. Today, it lacks such obvious features as an HDMI input, which was still a utopian dream back then, or higher resolution, so that the device is no longer up to date. So far, the device has run flawlessly, apart from the somewhat louder fan, which can be heard during quiet scenes depending on the distance to the viewer.

Signal cable
Hello everyone,
I bought the projector second-hand and am extremely satisfied with it so far.
The only thing I‘m missing is the VGA cable to the PC: SIC-HS30 for better transmission values.
Since production has been discontinued, the cable is no longer available as an accessory.
