Model Overview

The basic data of the Sony BRAVIA Projector 7 (VPL-XW5100ES) includes 2200 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. The projector is offered by the manufacturer in both white and black housing variants.
For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projection Calculator.
Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 2200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm.
