Model Overview

Equipped with SXRD technology, the Sony VPL-XW5000ES offers a display in UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and is equipped with 2000 ANSI lumens and designed for versatile applications. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. The projector is offered by the manufacturer in both white and black housing variants.
The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Projection Calculator.
Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm.
For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
