Equipped with LCD technology, the Sony VPL SW125 offers 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3800:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. According to Sony, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 124 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 345 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
