This projector from Sony utilizes Laser-LCD technology, achieving 1000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 300:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 275 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 183 cm. This model dates back to 1999 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.

Hello how can you solve the problem with the lamp timer ?
Despite inserting a new lamp and pressing the buttons to reset it does not work !

Lamp replacement-Lamp cover lights up.
The bulb had to be replaced in the Sony VPL PX1 projector. Now, about 30 seconds after switching it on, the LAMP COVER lamp lights up and then the device switches to standby mode.
The maintenance instructions (page 22 of the manual), which instruct you to press the key combination RESET , arrow left, arrow right and enter, does not fix the display/fault.
If this fault is known after changing the bulb in the above device, can you give me a hint for the fault clearance?
Thanks, Sero
