Behind the name VPL PS10 is a Laser-LCD projector by Sony, whose main features include 1500 ANSI lumens and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. According to Sony, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 225 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
