The equipment of the Sony VPL-EW575 projector includes 4300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 with a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 4300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 666 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 444 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
